What is Vedic maths?
Vedic maths is a set of mental calculation methods based on short Sanskrit rules called sutras, such as Nikhilam ("all from 9 and the last from 10"). They turn long sums into a few quick steps.
Which tricks are included?
Twenty tricks, including multiply by 11, 5, 25 and 50, squaring numbers ending in 5, subtracting from 1000, multiplying near 100, teen multiplication, vertically and crosswise, and digit-sum answer checks.
Is it suitable for kids?
